Ingredients

  • Ground meat 1lb / 455g
  • Eggs 3
  • Mozzarella
  • Tomato juice 1 cup
  • Onions 2
  • Garlic 1
  • Dill
  • Rosemary
  • Chicken stock 1 cup
  • Breadcrumbs 1/2 cup
  • Salt & pepper

Let's start

Mozzarella Meatballs in Tomato sauce

Take the onions and 4 garlic cloves, dice them and then put them in a small bowl.

Now cut the mozzarella in cubes.

Next bring the ground meat in a deep plate or large bowl, add the diced garlic and onion, then 2 eggs, chopped dill and salt. (mix it all together)

After that, put 1/2 cub of breadcrumbs and mix it well.

Make a golf ball size piece of the ground meat mix and then place a mozzarella cube in the middle of the meatball.

Now add a few drops of oil in a medium heated pan and then place the meatballs. (cook them until goldern brown)

 After you take out the meatballs, add 1 cup of chicken stock and 1 cup of tomato juice in the same pan. (stir well and let it simmer for couple of minutes)

Next add the meatballs in the homemade tomato sauce, then add couple of rosemary twigs.
